On July 4th, I had the joy of attending one of the most unforgettable concerts I’ve ever been to by Miriam Mandipira & The Soul Family at Bremen Teater.

The theatre was full, the vibe electric, and the music? Absolutely phenomenal.

From the first note to the final bow, the entire performance was pure magic. Miriam Mandipira’s voice soared with soul and depth that only she can deliver. Still, it was more than just her. The whole Soul Family was on fire. Their chemistry, energy, and musicianship came together in perfect harmony. As a result, the show felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I’ve seen many of their performances. However, this one was truly something special.

Their guest performer, Louise Tuxen, added a beautiful layer to the evening. Not only did she bring her stunning voice, but she also brought a presence that lifted the whole room. Every moment felt like a gift. The crowd was fully present, deeply moved, and entirely alive.

More Than Music – A Personal Note

This was not just another concert. In fact, it was a soulful experience, one that will stay with everyone who was lucky enough to be there.

As for Miriam Mandipira… she is so much more than a friend. She is family, in truth, a sister to me and Zachary’s loving godmother. A grounding, radiant soul in our lives. Therefore, watching her shine on stage fills me with pride, joy, and deep gratitude.

This was not just another concert. It was a soulful experience, one that will stay with everyone who was lucky enough to be there.

All in all, what a beautiful way for Bremen Teater to open this year’s Copenhagen Jazz Festival, with soul, heart, and an unforgettable performance.
